Lacma is the largest museum of modern and contemporary art in california and may be in west.
I can non compare LA with new York in art mater and museums but for west declension information technology is the best.
Entrance fee is about $25. There are some options that can make it complimentary or some discounts. Check the website for discounts.
Wednesday is airtight.
The building and outside is prissy and usually visitors spend few minutes at that place to have photos.
It needs at least ii hours and if y'all want y'all can spend all solar day.
Academy museum is attached to LACMA. I visit both in ane twenty-four hours and enjoyed very much.

Great museum in downtown LA. Lots to see. I recommend and would visit again. Picasso, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Monet, and more. We needed a reservation time to enter. Well worth information technology.

A wonderful museum, laid out beautifully and well curated. At that place is an amazing array of modernistic and contemporary art from around the World. There is the main gallery and two or three special exhibition areas.

For 25 bucks, there'due south only gimmicky modern arts for at present. They don't testify whatever info on the website or provide maps of the whole site, but they nevertheless testify collections of traditional arts from unlike cultures. Then the real collection is a tiny portion of what they really have. I think the museum is deliberately hiding the info and fox ppl in, very disappointed! I'll never come once again and won't recommend anyone to come.

The museum itself is 100% worth the price of admission (which is $25 for one developed as of this review). If I were reviewing the museum alone, I would give it 5 stars. Yet, I cannot because what is Non worth it is the LACMA parking garage. There were NO spots open up where we were directed to get. I told a parking bellboy, and she said (I quote), "Just keep driving around slowly until someone pulls out." Nosotros drove in circles for 17 minutes, at which point we were going to be late for our museum time. When nosotros left to find another place to park, nosotros were charged $18. My husband found the bellboy and told her there was no parking and we should non be charged, and she said (I quote), "Yep there is! I will show you!" We were not offered a refund. Nosotros collection around the area trying to detect parking, and in the process drove by the archway to that same garage (minutes subsequently), and information technology said "Lot Full". So clearly, she was lying to us. We did find an $8 lot about a block away, and nosotros fabricated it close to our two:30pm time. I would strongly recommend to LACMA that they choose another parking company and I would non advise anyone to park there. They (PCI is the name of the company) are running a scam. Find another option!

This normally is i of my favorite museums to visit because of the breadth/variety of the exhibits. But nigh 70% off the normal exhibits are not currently available because the museum is beingness renovated. When I fabricated my reservation online and bought my ticket (new COVID related policy) this was not fabricated clear. After I saw everything bachelor (took about an hour and a half), I idea it was a mistake and at that place was just a detour to get to rest of the exhibits. Nope that was all. The admission was still $25, which seems really high for only part of the museum. Huge thwarting for an out of boondocks visitor who didn't know any better. That's probably what they were counting on.
